Neuropsychological Evaluations

Neuropsychological evaluations may be needed to help clinicians determine diagnoses, create treatment plans, or understand an individual's strengths and weaknesses in their functioning. Neuropsychological evaluations include a series of tests and clinical interviews to allow the neuropsychologist to better understand how the brain functions on certain tasks.

 Neuropsychological testing is scheduled for approximately 5-7 hours, depending on the types of tests needed for the individual's presenting concerns. These tests are designed to help the neuropsychologist better understand how well the brain is working on certain functions such as processing speed, short-term and long-term memory, attention, intellectual functioning, reasoning skills, and many more.
