Administrative Assistant (part-time)

About the Position: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive environment, is comfortable handling sensitive information, and is interested in the mental health field. Our practice accepts insurance, so familiarity with insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling
  • Verify client insurance benefits and assist with insurance authorizations
  • Collect and process payments, including copays and outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in our electronic health system
  • Assist clinicians with administrative tasks such as document preparation and correspondence
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims, denials, and billing issues
  • Support general office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining a tidy workspace

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or mental health setting (preferred, but not required)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with computers and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for part-time hours, including some evenings as needed

General Psychotherapist

About Position:

We are seeking a licensed, license-eligible, or pre-licensed therapist to join our team. We are especially interested in those who would like to work with our lesser-served client populations such as children, adolescents, and couples, but are open to therapists who are looking for adult caseloads as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify symptoms and diagnoses.
  • Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to clients as scheduled.
  • Provide in-person/on-site and/or telehealth psychotherapy services toa diverse range of clients as scheduled and in accordance with practice policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required
  • Maintain current licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and professional codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for MSPC
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in our EHR

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in working in a private practice setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Adherence to ethical code of conduct based on licensure and degree
  • Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete and submit appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base, including neurodivergent clients (i.e., autism, ADHD, etc.).
  • Proficient in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems.

Applicant psychologists must hold a doctoral-level (Ph.D. or Psy.D) from an accredited university, be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Indiana and have successfully completed post-doctoral training in psychology.

Other applicants must hold a Master’s level or higher degree in a behavioral science or related field and be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Indiana. Consideration for employee (W-2) positions will be given to candidates with associate level licensure or who are in the process of becoming licensed.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

About Position:

We are currently seeking a psychiatric-mental health practitioner to join our growing multi-disciplinary team at MSPC. We are specifically seeking a provider advocates a holistic approach to clients’ mental and physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Issue prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines, as well as providing patient education regarding risks, benefits and reasonable outcome expectations
  • Maintain current licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and professional codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for MSPC
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
  • Completed required clinical documentation in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
  • Actively participate as a positive member of the clinical environment
  • Actively cultivate and utilize local community referral resources
  • Maintain open, clear and concise communication in a positive, patient-centered manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed in the State of Indiana
  • Ability to work with clients with complex mental health issues
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills
  • Collaborate with other providers
  • Demonstrated a history of professional growth and development
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Excellent communication, patient relations, and time management skills
  • Experience in collecting, organizing, recording, and communicating, while taking health histories and administering mental health screening questionnaires

Modern Strength Psychology Center is a group of neuropsychology, psychology, and psychotherapy professionals who enjoy working with and empowering a wide variety of individuals across the lifespan. Our private practice includes two neuropsychologists, a counseling psychologist, a licensed clinical social worker, a psychometrist and several practicum students. 

We currently provide neuropsychological and psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Due to a high volume of referrals, we are seeking to fulfill a number of positions.
