Post-Doctoral Fellow & School Psychologist

Dr. Aerin Welch is post-doctoral fellow at Modern Strength Psychology Center who is also currently working as a school psychologist in public schools. She specializes in comprehensive educational evaluations for school aged children suspected to have learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, emotional dysregulation, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities. She also provides therapeutic services to individuals with deficits in executive functioning and social-emotional skills.

Dr. Welch earned her PhD in School Psychology through Indiana University Bloomington and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. Welch uses her experience as a school psychologist to help parents to advocate for the rights of their children in schools. Her primary therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and attachment therapy. Dr. Welch is also available to contract with schools for assessment and professional development.

Dr. Welch offers in-person and telehealth appointments, including comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapeutic services under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Dugan and Dr. Rose Jackson-Buckley.
