Marriage & Family Therapist
Aaron Persinger is a licensed marriage and family therapist who sees individuals, couples, and families. Aaron works with clients aged 10 and older to address life transitions, problems with work and school, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, and conflict within relationships and families.
Aaron earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary in 2022 and a Bachelor of General Studies with minors in Business and Sociology in 2004 from Indiana University. He has trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Restoration Therapy, and Post-Modern Modalities of Narrative, Collaborative, and Solutions-Focused Therapies. He also regularly utilizes CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
Aaron’s approach is collaborative. He seeks to create a calming environment and connection with clients that promotes therapeutic work, resilience, and autonomy. He has also trained in Yoga and is a musician and visual artist, bringing a creative and holistic background to the therapy room.
