Counseling Psychologist

Dr. Hannah Drake-Schaffner is a counseling psychologist specializing in adult counseling and assessment across a wide variety of presenting concerns and client backgrounds. She earned her Ph.D. from Ball State University in Muncie Indiana where she had a specialization in social psychology and trained in numerous clinical settings including community mental health, family medicine, outpatient behavioral health, and neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Drake-Schaffner has a passion for working with individuals experiencing chronic pain as well as older adult mental health and phase of life changes; however, she works with adults of all ages and strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space to allow individuals from any background to create the value-aligned life that will allow them to grow into the person they want to be. She has experience working with neurodivergent individuals and will work to create a sensory friendly space for all in her office. Dr. Drake-Schaffner provides adult therapy services for individuals across a wide variety of presenting concerns and provides adult assessment for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), diagnostic clarification evaluations for a variety of clinical concerns, and bariatric pre-surgical evaluations. 

When she is not at work, Dr. Drake spends her time reading, watching her favorite TV shows, going to trivia nights, and cuddling her two orange cats, Pamela and Otis. 

Dr. Drake-Schaffner will begin seeing clients starting September 28, 2026. 

She is currently an out-of-network provider; however, the office is in the process of paneling her with the following:
- Anthem
- United Health Care
- Aetna
- Medicare
- Medicaid

We are happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to commercial insurances in the meantime, just let us know when scheduling.
